US Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Security Eric Boswell will visit Azerbaijan on April 3, spokesperson for the US embassy in Azerbaijan Keith Bean told.
"The working portion of his visit will take place April 3. Most of his meetings will be internal, with embassy staff", said Bean.
The Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) is the security and law enforcement arm of the U.S. Department of State providing international investigations, threat analysis, cyber security, counterterrorism, security technology, and protection of people, property, and information.
According to Interfax news agency, during his visit to Baku, Boswell will also mention the issue of the arrest of the people accused of preparing terrorist attacks against US and Israeli citizens in the territory of Azerbaijan by the order of Iranian intelligence.
