Ganja has become a winner in the contest for selection of the Azerbaijan’s Youth Capital declared by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The statement came from Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev.
Ganja has become first with 13.1%.
He said 1,800,000 people visited the website for the contest from the country and abroad within a month.
"This will help improve the youth-related infrastructure of Ganja. We are planning to nominate Ganja for the title of the youth capital of Europe", he said.
