the State Independence of the Azerbaijan Republic' by Rabiyyat Aslanova
doctor of philosophy, chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee for Human
Rights.
The book with academician Ramiz Mehdiyev as its scientific editor and
Milli Majlis member, doctor of historical science Yagub Mahmudov as
critic contains the thoughts about the historical significance,
importance and meaning of our independent statehood with is the
political, national and moral, ideological organization of the
Azerbaijani people.
The book speaks of the development path taken by the independent state
in 20 years, sustainable continuation of the heritage of the former
state leader Heydar Aliyev who ensured the irreversibility of our
independence and development perspective in the new century. Special
attention was made to national idea, national identity, cultural
features, development of science and culture, democratic and legal
issues of statehood.
The author writes in the part of the book "Instead of conclusion:
Independence is people’s right to write and live its history" that
shifting from evolution to innovation is among the fundamental goals for
Azerbaijan.
