Restoration of contacts between representatives of Azerbaijani and
Armenian communities of Nagorno Karabakh is of great importance,
considers chairwoman of the committee for human rights of Milli Majlis
of Azerbaijan Rabiyyat Aslanova.
'The meetings between communities are extremely important since Nagorno
Karabakh is an Azerbaijani territory and Armenians residing there are
the citizens of Azerbaijan. Once peace is attained, these two
communities will live and work together on this land', Aslanova told
reporters.
The parliamentarian noted that developing ties between the two
communities will ‘create additiona opportunities for informing the wide
community about affairs in Nagorno Karabakh, as well as further plans in
this direction".
'These meetings are of great importance. Today the Armenian community
of Karabakh must know the truth and the truth will come out at the
meetings between communities', she said.
According to her, the meetings of Armenian and Azerbaijani communities must further become regular.
'Armenian and Azerbaijani communities of Nagorno Karabakh must unveil their positions', Aslanova said.
