Baku opened the first meeting of the International Relations
Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries
(TurkPA) today.
International Relations Commission Chairman and Azerbaijani MP
Ahliman Amiraslanov the establishment of the TurkPA is of crucial
importance for the Turkic-speaking counties.
He said this structure will further develop the friendly and brotherly relations among the Turkic-speaking countries.
Azerbaijani First Deputy Parliamentary Speaker Ziyafat Askerov spoke about the TurkPA's increasing importance. He expressed hope that Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan will join the structure.
