The fellow at the Center for Strategic Studies at the Presidential
Administration of Azerbaijan, PhD in economic Vusal Gasimli is on a
visit to Austria upon the invitation of the World Bank.
Gasimli is to take part in a workshop on "Services trade
liberalization" to be held in Vienna Institute as part of the visit to
last till 4 November.
The workshop will focus on themes "Economic philosophy of services
liberalization", "Investments and movement of labor force", "GATS
framework" and "Regulation of service matters in contracts in Europe and
Central Asia."
The reports to the workshop will be made by well-known scholars Joe
Francois (Professor at Kepler University), Pierre Sauvé (Professor at
World Trade Institute), David Tar (expert at the World Bank) and others.
The target audience of the workshop is high-rank government officials and their assistants for trade and economic matters.
