The Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev met with Minister of Communication and Information Technology of Iran Mahmud Vaezi, SIA reports.
During the meeting, economic relations between the two countries, the expansion of ties between businessmen, the development of cooperation in the fields of industry, agriculture, veterinary medicine, energy, alternative energy, and transport were discussed.
Mr Shahin Mustafayev noted that there is high level political, economic and humanitarian relations between the two countries, as well increase of mutual visits of officials and businessmen
In his turn Iranian Minister expressed his hope for the great potential for further development of cooperation. During the meeting, the work done in accordance with the agreement reached at the 9th meeting of the State Commission for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran in economic, trade and humanitarian spheres held on August in Baku was discussed, and it was pointed out that significant progress has been achieved in a number of fields.
Furthermore, they discussed the expansion of ties between businessmen, the development of cooperation in the fields of industry, agriculture, veterinary medicine, energy, alternative energy, and transport at the meeting.
