Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defence Industry views the issue of production of combat manned jets and helicopters. According to spokeswoman for the Ministry of Defence Industry Shafag Kazimova, the work in this direction has already been launched.
"It's now early to specify dates of the start of production and other details. But it has to be noted that the Ministry of Defence Industry already has a successful experience of production of unmanned jets Aerostar and Orbiter-2M", she said.
