Azerbaijan produced 816.6 kg of gold in January-July, 2012, down 20.6% compared to a year ago. State Statistical Committee says along with gold, 412.5 kg of silver was produced in Azerbaijan during this period, down 50.5% from a year earlier.
As of August 1, 2012, finished good inventory of the gold was 67.6 kg, of silver – 17.2 kg.
In general, in January-July of 2012, 1,229.1 kg of precious metal ores and concentrates were produced in the country, down 34% compared to last year.
