975,000 tons of 1.365 mln
tons of wheat on contracts signed for fulfilment of State Program for
reliable provision of population with food products in 2008-2015 were
received to state reserve by storing up. 115,000 tons of this were
received as reserve in 2008, 160,000 tons – in 2009, 590,000 tons in
2010, 110,000 tons in 2011, said the Minister of Emergency Situations
Kamaladdin Heydarov.
Minister said that, leading media of the country have announced about the local grain receiving to State Grain Fund, since wheat harvest started. 3,222 tons of grain were received from local grain producers, in 2011.
According to Minister, receiving of products from grain producers without limitation is very profitable or them: "Although, there are density shortage and sharply price rise in the world during past 2 years, Azerbaijan could remain the prices of bread stable and at present, flour and bread are went down at the domestic markets".
