The Parliamentary Elections in the Republic of Azerbaijan were organized and conducted in line with international, including the OSCE and Council of Europe commitments and standards for democratic elections, as well as the national legislation and the rules and procedures elaborated by the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan". As SIA reports GUAM observation mission spoke about it in their statement connected with parliamentarian elections in Azerbaijan.
They said that GUAM observation mission invited to Azerbaijan on November 7 to observe the election process in 27 polling stations of constituencies No 15, 16, 34 and 36: "In respect of the overall electoral process, organization of the elections and the activity of the commissions of the polling stations the Group of GUAM Observers has no substantial remarks. The elections took place in a calm atmosphere and genuinely competitive environment. Parliamentary Elections in general could be assessed positively - as free and fair".
