The Azerbaijani delegation consisting of officials from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies (MCIT), State Management of Radio Frequencies of MCIT and representatives of mobile operators’ standards, GSM, 3G and CDMA, will discuss the issues of coordination of mobile communications frequencies with the representatives of the Commission on Communications of Georgia and country’s mobile operators in Tbilisi on October 1-2.
Note that the meeting takes place in order to eliminate cases of crossing of the frequencies in border areas and to ensure normal operation of mobile communication in these areas.
Starting from today representatives of mobile operators of the two countries and agencies regulating the frequency spectrum, will monitor the frequency channels in the border areas of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
