President Ilham Aliyev: The fight against corruption is the one of main directions of the state policy
"Ensuring the efficiency of state administration, applying open governmental institutions the development of e-services, and the fight against corruption are the main directions of the state policy," says the statement of President Ilham Aliyev issued for the participants of the conference the international "Fighting against corruption: international standards and national experience" .
"It has a strong political will for a productive fight against corruption in Azerbaijan : Azerbaijan has joined international initiatives to fight against corruption legislation base has completely modernized and institutional reforms have enforced." the statement says.
Unfortunately, corruption has remained one of the main problems in all over the world including European countries. Therefore it’s important to propose new initiatives in this sphere. Azerbaiajan’s relations always developes and extends in various spheres between the member states of the EC. I’m sure that this conference which works for strengthening national and international efforts in the fighting against corruption will contribute our continuous relations and extend our cooporation.
