The Armenian armed units opened fire at the members of the OSCE monitoring group and positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces today immediately after the monitoring on the contact line of the Azerbaijani and Armenian armed forces came to an end, SIA reports citing the Defense Ministry's press service.
The monitoring was conducted by field assistants of personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office Yevgeni Sharov and Peter Svedberg on the Azerbaijani side of the contact line.
On the opposite side, the monitoring was held by field assistants of personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office Christo Christov, Irji Aberle and personal assistant William Prior.
