Elmar Mammadyarov: “Azerbaijan will invite observers of the OSCE to monitor the presidential elections”
Azerbaijan will invite observers of the OSCE to monitor upcoming presidential elections in October, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov. He said that according to the legislation, such invitations are sent approximately two months before the elections, SIA reports.
OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara welcomed the intention of Azerbaijan: "We welcome the intention of Azerbaijan as the OSCE member state, to invite observers of our organization to monitor elections."
