The head of the Presidential Administration, Ramiz Mehdiyev considers serious provocation the attempts to persistently mention his name at the meeting of MP Gular Ahmadova and former rector of the Azerbaijan International University Elshad Abdullayev.
"The aim is to discredit the representative of government, to lower his authority," said the head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, AzerTAj reports.
Mehdiyev noted that such efforts have been made more than once in the period of independence, but they were unfounded, and with similar insinuations provocateurs failed to achieve their goals.
"The present case will not bring any result either. With confidence I can say that representatives of the Presidential Administration are not involved and cannot be involved in such unscrupulous acts," said the head of the Presidential Administration.
