'Armenian government doesn’t create an opportunity for its people to fulfill their desire, communicate with Azerbaijanis and the Republic of Azerbaijan and establish peace'.
The statement came from head of Shusha region executive office, chairman of Public Union 'Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakh' Bayram Safarov.
Safarov touched the problems of negotiations between Armenian and Azerbaijani communities of Nagorno Karabakh and said that the reason of it is the unconstructive, anti-democratic policy of Armenia:
'Today, Armenian leaders, either Robert Kocharyan or Serzh Sargsyan speak proudly about genocides, which they perpetrated against Azerbaijanis. Of course, the time will come and they will be responsible as criminal for their actions. They will answer for the blood of innocent people they spilled.
How can these people want the meeting of communities and communication of ordinary Armenian people with Azerbaijanis? Not everyone living in Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians were enemies of the Azerbaijanis, they have improved their social position and supported their families for the account of Azerbaijan. These Armenians will never forget my words. Therefore this regime in Armenia will be overthrown. If Armenian regime doesn’t overthrow, the normal and peaceful life of Armenian people would be impossible. This government will draw Armenian people to the destruction over the years.'
Safarov noted that the world community and international organizations approached the Nagorno Karabakh conflict with double standards over 20 years: "Of course, the policy of the government over the last years changed the positions of international organizations. President Ilham Aliyev announces that Azerbaijani lands are not matter of negotiations. The world community supported Azerbaijan’s position and recognizes Azerbaijan as reliable ally."
According to Safarov, Azerbaijan has strong and combat-capable armed forces and this army will liberate our lands from the occupation: "Our army will liberate our lands from the occupation and achieve peace. Today, every Azerbaijani considers himself from Shusha. This factor will help us to return to Shusha as the winner. If there is an order of the Supreme Commander, our people will liberate our lands from the occupation. I believe that this time will come."
