The number of patients admitted to hospitals on holiday and days off (December 31-January 7) has been revealed. Azer Magsudov, the head toxicologist of the Ministry of Healthcare, the chief of the Clinic Medical Centre’s Toxicology centre, says over the last week 21 people have been admitted to the Centre for carbon monoxide poisoning, SIA reports.
8 of the poisoned were hospitalized, while 13 were released home after receiving first medical aid, according to him.
On the first days of the year the number of those heading to the Centre has not increased considerably. However, last year this time the number was relatively larger due to frigid weather condition, he added.
