"In Azerbaijan 500 medical institutions have been built, reconstructed and put into use being equipped by modern medical equipment last ten years," head pediatrician of Azerbaijan's Health Ministry, Director of Scientific Research Pediatrics Institute, President of Union of Pediatric Societies of Turkish Republics Nasib Guliyev told during his speech at the opening ceremony of I Baku International Neonatal Congress, SIA reports.
Mr. Guliyev also spoke about the importance of the congress held in Baku. He noted that Azerbaijan has gained a great achievement in medical sphere to hold this congress.
