Warner Bros. to ban Russian TV channels from showing studio's films

Warner Bros. Studios has decided to ban the showing of its films on Russian television, according to Booker's Bulletin.

The studio has sent a letter to the National Media Company with a request to remove the studio's content from the broadcast network. The contract with the company has been signed until mid-2024. The holding also owns REN-TV and Domashniy.

In October, Warner Bros. films, including Harry Potter, were removed from the CTC channel. It is unknown whether other channels will follow this decision. Meanwhile, online movie theaters continue to show the studio's series, including House of the Dragon, The White Lotus, Harley Quinn and others.
