The visa regime between Azerbaijan and China has been abolished, SİA informs.
The abolition of the visa regime came into force on July 16 in accordance with the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the People's Republic of China on mutual exemption from visa requirements for holders of general civil passports", signed during the state visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to China.
According to the document, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan holding valid general civil passports and citizens of the People's Republic of China holding valid general civil passports are exempt from visa requirements for entry, exit and transit through the territory of the other country for a period of no more than thirty (30) days for each trip and a total of no more than ninety (90) days during each period of one hundred eighty (180) days.
