French President Emmanuel Macron said that the earliest possible signing of a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan may open a new page for all countries in the region, SİA informs.
According to Macron, during the meeting, he reaffirmed France's support for Armenia's efforts to achieve peace with Azerbaijan.
"The signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the shortest possible time would open a new page for all countries and peoples in the region and beyond," Macron wrote on X following a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Paris.
