A grand children's creativity festival titled "Shusha – The Cultural Jewel of Turkic Unity" will be held in Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
SİA informs, citing the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, which is organizing the event, that the festival will kick off on June 1, coinciding with International Children's Day. Schoolchildren from Turkic-speaking countries will take part in the event.
The main goal of this creative forum is to strengthen friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation among children of the Turkic world, provide opportunities for them to present the culture and history of their countries with dignity, and allow guests to experience the captivating beauty of Shusha.
As part of the concert program, 300 participants from artistic groups representing Turkic countries will showcase their nations' musical and dance traditions. Among the honorary guests will be prominent figures from culture and the arts, as well as around 150 schoolchildren, including children of martyrs.
From May 26 to June 2, a rich excursion program is planned for the festival participants. Guests will explore Azerbaijan's natural beauty, historical and architectural monuments, and large-scale construction projects.
