Azerbaijan is being represented at a high level at the International Ethnosport Culture Festival, SİA reports citing the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the information, on May 22, the 7th International Ethnosport Culture Festival began in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye.
At the festival, held in Türkiye by the World Ethnosport Confederation with participation from more than 30 countries, our country is represented by a delegation of 130 people and 20 Karabakh horses, organized by the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At this prestigious event, which reflects the spiritual and national values of the Turkic world and welcomes thousands of visitors, the unique Karabakh horses featured in the “Victory” show composition, elegant Azerbaijani dances, national music, and performances by the new orchestra for 2025 have been showcased. The Cavalry Unit of the State Border Service performed on Karabakh horses.
Within the framework of the event, a meeting was held between the President of the World Ethnosport Confederation Bilal Erdoğan and the President of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elchin Guliyev, gratitude was expressed to the Turkish side for the invitation.
Bilal Erdoğan expressed his satisfaction with the participation of the Azerbaijani delegation in the festival and their impressive performance, emphasized that the Karabakh horses, our national treasure, once again fascinated all spectators.
Note that the performances of our delegation will continue until May 25.
