Azerbaijan is closely following the processes unfolding in Syria, Aykhan Hajizada, Spokesperson of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in response to the local media inquiry on Israeli-Syrian escalation, SİA informs.
"We are closely following the processes unfolding in Syria. We once again express our support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty, indivisibility, and political unity of Syria," Hajizada said.
The MFA spokesperson concluded that the establishment of peace, security, and stability in Syria is essential.
