Adoption of "The Constitutional Act on state independence of Azerbaijan Republic" - October 18 will be non-working day.
It has been considered in the General Collective Agreement for 2012-2013, signed by the Cabinet of Ministers, Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation and National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) Organizations of Azerbaijan.
Note that, on October 18, 1991 the Supreme Council of Azerbaijan adopted the "The Constitutional Act on state independence". From 1992 to 2006, this day was considered non-working day. However, due to changes in the Labour Code on December 8, 2006, this day was recognized as working day.
