A mild earthquake has hit the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea, the Republican Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences, told SIA.
The earthquake was recorded at 08:09 local time. The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.8 on the Richter scale, while its depth was 54 km.
Tremors were not felt.
