Demand for mobile computers has grown by 20% in Azerbaijan since the beginning of the year. The development of information technologies promoted growth of interest of the country’s population in computers and the Internet, said director for business and integration development of Ultra company Mohammed Zulfugarli.
"This year we have witnessed an intensive development of computer hardware market as well as growth of consumer interest in mobile computers, in particular, notebooks, netbooks and laptops," M. Zulfugarli said.
According to him, if earlier shared distribution of the market between desktop computers and notebooks made accordingly 70% by 30%, now market share of notebooks has grown by 50%.
"This year we have witnessed an intensive development of computer hardware market as well as growth of consumer interest in mobile computers, in particular, notebooks, netbooks and laptops," M. Zulfugarli said.
