Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited Azerbaijani hostages Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, taken hostage by Armenian side in Azerbaijan’s occupied Kalbajar region on Aug 20, SIA was told by head of Communication Department of the ICRC Baku Office, Ilaha Huseynova.
According to Ilahe Huseynova, the Azerbaijani hostages held in Nagorno-Karabakh were delivered messages from their families and their families will be informed about their conditions.Under its mandate, the ICRC visits detainees to monitor their treatment and conditions of detention and to help to ensure that the detainees are able to maintain contact with their families.
