"We got the facts that there are some forces trying to direct the Azerbaijan's policy to another way by approaching subjectively. We observe it in various international organizations' activities," the President’s Assistant for public-political affairs Ali Hasanov told.
The First European Games will play a positive role in brining closer the peoples of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"For 25 years, a million of people have been living as refugees and displaced persons, the four UN resolutions on liberation of the territories occupied by Armenia remain unfulfilled. Other international organizations also support the resolution of the conflict within the territorial integrity and protection of human rights of people in Nagorno-Karabakh. Unfortunately, due to the Armenia's non-constructive approach, the conflict has not yet been resolved and remains a threat for not only the regional security but also the security of the world. We have declared that if the conflict was turned a blind eye, a chain of conflicts will emerge. Today, the developments in Ukraine and the Balkans show that it’s dangerous to play with separatism. As long as the Nagorno-Karabakh problem exists, one cannot talk about the restoration of peace in the region and the world," Mr Hasanov told.
