Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan comments on UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders Michel Forst’s statement.
SIA informs that spokesman of Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev said that Azerbaijan has always cooperated constructively with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and its special procedure mandate-holders within the framework of their mandates. This statement is part of an ordered campaign run by certain circles against Azerbaijan on the eve of the First European Games".
"This statement twists the essence of the investigation casting shadow on the judicial system of Azerbaijan," Hajiyev stressed.
