Azerbaijani Armed Forces have prevented attempt of diversion group of Armenian armed forces to commit sabotage on the contact line on February 21 , Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan has issued a statement, SIA informs.
According to statement, after an intensive firefight, the Armenian forces were forced to retreat by suffering heavy losses.
A soldier of Azerbaijani Armed Forces Javadov Zalimkhan was martyred during the fight.
The military and political leadership of Armenia is responsible for all the provocations committed on the frontline. Now our response will be more firmly and decisively, we will avenge the blood of our martyrs.

The Defense Ministry offers condolence to the family and relatives of the martyr.
