SIA reports quoting the Iranian Embassy to Baku that The Head of the Department of Public and Political Issues of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov received a delegation of Iranian journalists who are on a visit to Baku.
"The Azerbaijani journalists cooperate as part of such formats with their colleagues from Russia, Turkey and Central Asian countries. The Azerbaijani media can, in a specific format, cooperate with Iranian media, and this would have positively impacted the development of bilateral relations." Hasanov noted during the meeting.
Hasanov stressed that the media play an important role in shaping the culture and thoughts of people.
Hasanov criticized the attempts of some Azerbaijani and Iranian media outlets, aimed at spreading negative information about both countries, and said that if the media pay more attention to positive factors, undoubtedly this will affect the development of bilateral ties.
