"The relations of Azerbaijan between the members of Eurasian Economic Union – Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan are on a high level." SIA reports that a Director of the Center for Political Innovations and Technologies, political scientist Mubariz Ahmedoghlu told this commenting on the issue of joining Azerbaijan to the Eurasian Economic Union.
According to Mubariz Ahmedoghlu, there is a significant role of a bilateral policy for Azerbaijan. " We prefer to a bilateral policy than joining to the any organization. Azerbaijan doesnot have to join to Eurasian Economic Union. With a purpose of the resolution of Azerbaijani- Armenian Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, a joining of Azerbaijan to the Euroasian Economic Union is groundless. Azerbaijan can release its occupied lands even without joining to the Euroasian Economic Union.
"President Ilham Aliyev has told in his speeches in Aghdam as well as in Fuzuli that we are completely sure for the truthfulness of our steps" noted Ahmedoghlu.
