Sniper rifle "Mubariz", bearing the name of the national hero, will be given to our army in coming days, Defence Industry Minister Yavar Jamalov has told journalists, SIA reports.
According to him, the sniper rifle, produced by the Ministry experts, is 12.7mm calibre.
He said improvements on the weapons had been completed.
"Mubariz" sniper rifle is from the family of "Istiglal" anti-material rifle. The weapon is designed to destroy far-distance enemy manpower, military hardware and consolidated positions.
