The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Djibouti has adopted a final document on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
According to the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, the document condemns the military aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan, noting the inadmissibility of occupation of Azerbaijani lands.
The paper also noted that the conflict should be resolved in the near future on the basis of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the inviolability of its borders recognized internationally.
In addition, the adopted documents expressed serious concern over the destruction of the cultural heritage and Islamic holy places in the Nagorno-Karabakh region and other occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
