Part of the briedge on the main highway between Azerbaijani-Russian border has collapsed in the nothern Guba District.
The 90-metres bridge spans the Garachay Riber in the village of Nugadi Qazmalar.
Lorry driver Ulfat Hasanov, 40, suffered serious injures when the collapse of the bridge threw his GAZ 3302, Gazel truck into the river. He has been taken t the hospital.
Local law-enforcement agencies are at the scene.
