The negotiations between Azerbaijan and European Union (EU) on visa facilitation and readmission agreements are an important point in EU-Azerbaijan cooperation.
Head of the EU Representation in Azerbaijan Roland Kobia told the statement while commenting on the talks held in 1-2 March in Baku.
He noted that very fruitful and beneficial talks were held in Baku during the two days, in which the Azerbaijani side demonstrated full and deep constructivism.
According to Kobia, the rapid talks and signing agreements in this regard depend on the speed of the process and political will of each partner country.
"We hope that agreements will be signed at the end of these talks. This process aims to bring closer Azerbaijan and EU nations."
The discussions are running over short-term, 90-day visa facilitation. Baku wants the agreements to cover the large range of population.
