Azerbaijani primary provider Delta Telecom continues its work on development of the National Data Center.
DT technical director Raid Alakbarli says that the number of Google servers placed in the Center and capacity of the latter itself will be increased until the end of the month.
"This will enable to draw 80-85% of international content to the national data center. We’ve also conducted work on drawing of Yandex and other international search systems to the Center. This allowed the Data Center to reach the level of leading international highways of the East and West," Alakbarli said.
Company’s opportunities of free placement of Azerbaijani resources on National Data Center’s resources and the fact of this server availability in Azerbaijan speed up the process of return migration of national content.
Until recently 97% of Azerbaijani sites was placed on servers out of the country, in particular Germany and the USA.
