Tax Minister Fazil Mammadov has said that 90 per cent
of Azerbaijan's taxpayers meet the filing deadline, while 80 per cent
pay their taxes on time.
In an interview with foreign journalists, the minister said that reforms in the tax system designed to improve tax collection had been successful.
Fazil Mammadov said that today 90% of taxpayers provide declarations to the tax bodies on time and 80% pay their taxes on time.
"This is a very high figure even compared to the developed countries. I
think it is one of the biggest achievements," Mammadov said.
