The statement came from vice speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Ziyafat Asgarov while talking to journalists.
Asgarov noted that everyone has a right of freedom of opinions and free thoughts.
'No one can be forced to bear penalty for denying so called ‘Armenian
genocide’. I consider that adoption of such bill promises nothing good
to French-Turkey relations'.
According to the vice speaker, misfortune of Armenians is that, super powers time to time use them and then throw aside.
'This issue is also so. I condemn this step and view it groundless.
This is nothing but pressure on Turkey. At the same time, I consider
that in case of adoption, this can also give negative impact on
French-Azerbaijani relations'.
