Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Service has commented on the incident in the correctional facility.
Chief of public affairs relations Mehman Sadigov told that the incident happened in the correctional facility in Garadagh district of Baku at 20.00 yesterday.
Prisoners Dadashov Farid Javid, born in 1988, and Farajov Faig Fuad, born in 1983, who were detained in the penalty ward, gave false information on defect of the effluent disposal line.
Sadigov said the operational search actions were continued for Farajov’s detention. He also said that Dadashov was accused on the Criminal Code’s article № 180 (robbery), and sentenced to 4 years imprisonment. Farajov was accused on the Criminal Code’s article №234.1 (drug trafficking) and sentenced to 3 years imprisonment.
