Power Sabuhi Vezirov visited the newly-found dwelling place of ancient period
in Gabala, Head of Gabala archaeological expedition Gahraman Agayev told SIA.
According to Agayev, the guests became familiar with the
archeological excavations while examining the airport territory built in
Gabala: "The officials were informed on age and significance of the monument. After
the exchanging of view it was decided to keep this monument as a museum in the
open air, because this monument is very ancient, it covers the period of VI
century B.C.E. till III century A.D. 800 year intensive life was in this
territory. Then the population moved to the south. Now the medieval monuments
are situated in that territory".
