New York's main contract, light sweet crude for May dropped $2.74 or 2.8% to close at $94.45 a barrel due to the WTI crude oil extraction during the electron trade operation held in New York NYMEX mercantile exchange on April 3. Brent North Sea crude for delivery in May went down $3.58 or 3.2% to $107.11 a barrel in London trade, SIA reports.
