If the providers don’t reduce the tariffs, the government can take regulating measures, said the Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov.
According to him, the price of internet given by Delta Telecom Company was also reduced, some months ago.
The reduced prices by Delta Telecom must be realized by the providers. But sum suspensions are observed in this sphere. It’s known that, providers earn certain profit.
He also noted that, the works on establishment of organization for provision of security in the internet were underway.
According to Abbasov, there are certain proposals on it and the Cabinet of Ministers conducts works.
Azercell and Bakcell will obtain license for conduction of 3G services, after accepting of government’s conditions, said the Minister.
Minister said that, the Ministry had taken all steps on it.
Abbasov also noted that, Bakcell and Azercell hesitated to accept these conditions: "Azercell and Bakcell will obtain the license on conduction of 3G license after accepting of these conditions. But, they don’t hurry".
Minister said that, according to rules, the network of operators might be transparent. Second is to switch to carrying numbers. But, Azercell does not interest in it. Third is the reduction of prices in traffic exchange among the operators. It’s 5 kopecks I Azerbaijan, today. "We decided to reduce the traffic fee to 2 kopecks. Bakcell and Azercell don’t agree with this. They will obtain license, when they accept these conditions".
