State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan (SSC) has announced the volume of retail e-commerce in the country.
The SSC reports that in January-March of 2015, the volume of retail e-commerce turnover in Azerbaijan increased by 1.7 times and amounted to 2720,0 thousand manats, compared to the same period of last year.
Out of the consumer goods purchased by the population in electronic form 92.7 percent was bought on trade networks of legal entities and 7.3 percent was purchased on trade networks of individuals. Non-food products accounted for 96.3 percent of e-commerce market turnover.
