Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 - the world’s largest mobile industry exhibition and congress with the participation of the heads of mobile operators, vendors and content owners all around the world officially kicks off today in Barcelona, Spain.
The event, which traditionally sets the tone for manufacturers of mobile technology in the coming year, is attended by more than 1400 companies and manufacturers. The exhibition will showcase mobile innovations, entertainment, applications, open mobile systems, internet technology etc. Speeches are scheduled to be made by the heads of several major corporations and it is also planned to hold workshops, sessions and forums on various topics.
On the threshold of the WMC, many manufacturers have already announced their new products to be launched in 2015. This year, the attention of mobile device manufacturers’ is focused on high performance dual-core and quad-core smartphones with large screens.
