Star Wars fans have been left frustrated after cinema websites struggled to cope with demand when advance tickets for the new film went on sale this morning.
Several UK and Ireland cinema chains teased fans with their announcement on Twitter two months before The Force Awakens is released, and a new trailer is set to debut during an American football game tonight.
Unveiling the surprise news on Twitter last night, Odeon wrote: "Ready are you? What know you of ready? #StarWarsTheForceAwakens tickets are on sale TOMORROW (Monday) morning!"
But apparently some fans were left facing lengthy delays when tickets went on sale at 8am.
