Baku has today hosted a commemorative event dedicated to the 21st anniversary of the occupation of Azerbaijan`s Agdam district by the Armenian Armed Forces, SIA reports.
The event was attended by state and government officials, MPs and representatives of the international organizations.
A documentary titled "Painful and honorary memory, or Azerbaijan`s Agdam" demonstrated at the event.
Head of the Agdam Executive Authorities Ragub Mammadov spoke about the district’s history, damages of the occupation, as well as heroism of the Agdam citizens in the war.
Azerbaijani Deputy PM, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov informed about the problems caused by the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the work done by the Azerbaijani government for settlement of these problems.
