Khankendi airport will be opened in the measurable future, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said.
Almost all the issues concerning the airport have been resolved, he told residents of Noyemberyan during his campaign rally.
"As soon as all the problems are tackled, the airport will start operating," he said.
Earlier the head of the Nagorno-Karabakh separatist regime General Administration of Civil Aviation Valery Adbashyan told that airport is ready to accept the flights.
